Rural Schools Networks

We are currently developing Rural Schools Networks in 6 different dioceses: Leeds & York, Lincoln, Canterbury, Exeter and Truro. These are facilitated by an expert practitioner with experience in rural schools, using resources from the Foundation. They particularly focus on the challenges that rural contexts can present, such as isolation and mixed-age teaching (read the Church of England's report here). All of these networks aim to develop Character through social action in order to impact on their communities. We are delighted to be working in partnership with the Pears #iwill Fund to achieve this.
